The shoe started out very comfortable. Then I began finding little brown rubber pieces around the house and noticed that they were coming off the bottom of the shoe. Now that about 30% of the rubber nubs are missing the shoes are actually painful to wear. I contacted Sketchers and they said all they could do was replace them with the same shoe, but I have read many reviews now indicating this isn't a unique problem. If you only want the shoes for a month or so they will be great. If you want them longer than that I would definitely go for something else.
